PSN Peer Support Services
Parent Support Network serves all individuals in Rhode Island, and we specialize in children, families, and youth transitioning adulthood. Our services are free of charge. PSN now offers peer recovery services for adults with behavioral health (mental health and substance use) challenges and who are in recovery. PSN is funded with federal, state, and private funds allocated for these services. Individuals receiving direct services will be asked to complete surveys and provide information that helps us to maintain funding and track outcomes.
VISIT OUR PEER SUPPORT CENTER: Our Peer Support Center is located at 535 Centerville Road, Suite 202, Warwick, RI 02886. We are open weekdays 9 am to 5 pm, with some scheduled evening and weekend hours. Please call ahead to schedule your visit. Our Peer Support Center has a library of resources,computers and a telephone available to help you in identifying needed information and community resources. PSN has a large resource library on many different topics. Resource materials include brochures, fact sheets, documents, books, tapes and videos.
CALL OUR STATEWIDE PEER SUPPORT HELPLINES: All individuals, parents, young adults, family members, and professional partners can call into our helplines and receive emotional support and guidance in navigating services, programs, and interactive service systems such as health, housing, education, employment, social services, behavioral health, child welfare, juvenile and adult justice.

RECEIVE PEER SUPPORT SERVICES : Individuals, parents, and adults can request peer support or recovery services which requires completion of an intake. Peer Support or Recovery Specialists will work with you to develop and implement your own peer support plan and assist with accessing necessary services and supports. Peer Support and Recovery Specialists can help you prepare for working with health teams, service agencies, employment services, schools, and courts. This will include attending your treatment planning and community based service planning meetings with you, and/or your child and family.
PARENT EDUCATION: Nurturing Parenting Program is an evidence based parenting education program developed by the Family Nurturing Center whose mission is to create nurturing communities by promoting the philosophy of nurturing through parenting programs and information targeted to children, teenagers, adults, families, and the community at large. Parents are required to complete a parenting assessment that will help you to identify your parenting needs for individualized or group nurturing parenting sessions. Parent Support Network will provide certificates of completion and court letters.
