Certified Peer Recovery Specialist Program Training Opportunities

Peer Recovery Specialists are required to get 46 training certification hours across the domains of advocacy,  wellness & recovery, mentoring & education, and ethics.  All  certified Peer Recovery Specialists are required to receive 20 re-certification training hours, with a least 6 hours of required ethics. 

Peer Recovery Specialist Integrated Mental Health & Substance Use Integrated Certification Training  (46 hrs)
Dates: To be announced for January/February  
Location: Parent Support Network-Warwick, RI     
Time: 9 am to 2:30 pm 
Peer Recovery Specialist 12 Core Concepts Trauma Informed Training- Family Services of RI (12 hrs)
Dates:  Wednesdays-November 2nd to December 7th
Location: Parent Support Network-Warwick, RI     
Time: 10 am to 12 pm
Certified Peer Recovery Specialist- Ethics Training
Required for Re-certification (6 hrs)
Dates: November 8th or November 18th
Location: Parent Support Network-Warwick, RI     
Time: 9 am to 4 pm 
Peer Recovery Specialist Trauma Informed Seeking Safety Training-Family Services of RI (20 hrs)
Dates:  Wednesdays-December 14th to February 15th
Location: Parent Support Network-Warwick, RI     
Time: 10 am to 12 pm
Peer Recovery Specialist Motivational Interviewing Training - CODAC (6 hrs)
Dates:  November 22nd or December 6th
