Parent Support Network understands what it is like to live with a child or adolescent with serious emotional, behavioral or mental health challenges. We love our children very much. We work on implementing good parenting techniques and try to build on our child’s strengths, but we still find parenting challenging as we work towards our children’s overall wellbeing. Parents are usually in need to find other parents that can understand what they are going through and to be able to talk openly about their child and family problems and to find out new information, strategies and services.
Parent Support Network Peer Mentor Program is based on family members supporting family members by providing the following services:
- Individual Support
- Information & Referral Services
- Advocacy with mental health, schools, agencies and Courts
- Resource Library of Materials
Our services are open to all families in need across Rhode Island and are free of charge. Please contact our PSN office in order to access our peer mentor program.

Family Peer Mentors will attend the meetings with the family member to assist in advocating for the most appropriate services for their child and family based on capacity.
