The Rhode Island Council of Community Mental Health Organizations (RICCMHO) is a responsive resource comprised of private, non-profit community mental health organizations in Rhode Island. Established in 1979, the Council is an effective conduit through which member organizations channel their collective expertise to form a united voice of public advocacy for all persons with mental illness.

Rhode Island Positive Educational Partnership

RICASP continues to expand its focus with the Rhode Island Positive Educational Partnership (RIPEP).  RIPEP addresses the needs of young children birth to age eleven who are experiencing serious emotional disturbances and their families. Children are eligible based on if their school or early child care setting is participating in Positive Behavioral Interventions (PBIS) or other evidence based early childhood mental health consultation models.

CEDARR Direct Service Descriptions

CEDARR Family Centers offers families information on specific disabilities, treatment options and referrals to community supports and assistance for their child with special needs.  CEDARR stands for : Comprehensive Evaluation, Diagnosis, Referral and Re-evaluation. Many families who have children with serious emotional, behavioral and mental health challenges and who have access to Medicaid find that there are a number of CEDARR Direct services they need and have learned that these services can only be accessed by participating the the CEDARR program.  These CEDARR direct services include KIDS CONNECT, Home-Based Therapeutic Services Program, Personal Assistance Services and Supports (PASS), and Respite services.  For more information on CEDARR Family Centers and CEDARR direct services visit the following web sites:

 

Rhode Island Network of Care for Behavioral Health

The Network of Care is a resource for individuals, families and agencies concerned with behavioral health. It provides information about behavioral health services, laws, and related news, as well as communication tools and other features. The RIQI would like to thank these partners for their extraordinary leadership in making the Rhode Island Network of Care a reality. Without their dedication, funding and hard work, this service would not have been possible for Rhode Island.

Rhode Island Coalition Against Domestic Violence

The purpose of the Rhode Island Coalition Against Domestic Violence is to eliminate domestic violence in Rhode Island. Our mission is to support and enhance the work of our member agencies and to provide leadership on the issue of domestic violence.

Family Care Community Partnership Initiative
The Rhode Island Family Care Community Partnership Initiative (FCCP), is a statewide system of care initiative, of the Department of Children, Youth and Families. This Initiative helps and supports families of children and youth who at risk for child welfare involvement;  who have serious emotional disturbance (SED); and who are in the Rhode Island Training School.
